About Teresa

Teresa D. Calabrese is a mediator and collaborative lawyer serving New York City with a focus on the queer community. Teresa offers a holistic approach to each service she provides and is committed to helping individuals, couples and families transform how they make decisions, problem solve and resolve conflict.

Teresa concentrates her practice on: relationship formation, including co-habitation agreements and pre-nuptial agreements; family building, including donor sperm agreements and co-parenting agreements; and divorce and dissolution of relationships. Teresa also handles second parent adoption matters and provides basic estate planning services including the preparation of wills, health care proxies and advance directives.

Teresa brings an inward awareness and focus to her work as a mediator and lawyer informed by her meditation and yoga practices. Approaching each case by being fully present and honoring the core values and principles of her clients, Teresa provides support and counsel to help her clients choose healthy, sustainable solutions to the legal issues presented.
